Old Cairo

Old Cairo is one of the city’s most historic districts, where layers of Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic heritage come together. Often called Coptic Cairo, the area is home to remarkable landmarks such as the Hanging Church and the Amr Ibn Al-As Mosque.
